The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) kicked off
construction on a project to raise dairy cows at Thong Nhat Farm in the
central province of Thanh Hoa yesterday.
The Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (Vinamilk) has signed a
framework agreement on developing dairy farms in the Central Highlands
province of Lam Dong during the 2015-2020 period.
Viet Nam is aiming to triple the number of cows by 2020 in order to meet
domestic demand for fresh milk, heard a recent conference on the
country''s dairy industry.
The Viet Nong Lam JSC, operating in the southern province of Dong Nai,
will continue exporting feed for dairy cows to Japan and the Republic of
Korea (RoK) next year.
Viet Nam has gradually restructured its livestock industry towards turning out high-quality products, with high added value to ensure sustainable development.
